Sirdar Jewelspun Chunky with Wool is a cozy, self-striping, lightweight, machine-washable wool blend. The stripes appear as you knit, in the direction of your rows, and will appear narrower in a circular knit than in a pieced design. This yarn has incredible meterage too; you can make a cozy hat and generous coordinating snood with just one ball.
Perfect for cozy quick knit autumn layers, winter sweaters, scarves and blankets and for adding definition and drama to textured stitches.

We knit a corner to corner baby blanket using a US 10.5 needle and knit to 105 sts. before decreasing. One skein will make a 24"x 24" blanket (blocked). We used colorway 204 in our blanket. (We used a dishcloth pattern and knit to 105 stitches before decreasing.)
One ball will also make three adult hats using a stitch count of 72 stitches!
It crochets beautifully as well.
