Wool Tincture dyes are about as low-effort as home dyeing gets: pre-measured acid dye "tea bags" paired with citric acid packets, designed to give predictable, mess-free color on wool, alpaca, mohair, and other protein fibers without any mixing or calculating. They won't take on cellulose fibers like cotton or linen, so they're specifically for animal-fiber projects.
For a more traditional route, our Indigo Dye Kit walks through the classic indigo vat process, which works differently from most other dyes and produces indigo's signature deep, layered blues. Our Mordant Kit and Natural Dye Extract Kit are built for natural dyeing more broadly: mordanting is the prep step that helps natural dye bond to protein fibers, since most natural dyes won't strike properly without it, while the extract kit gives you concentrated natural dye sources to work from rather than needing to source and prepare raw dyestuff yourself.
