Knit Alongs
Knit Alongs (also called KALs) are the modern version of a knitting circle. Held in-store or even virtually, knitters come together to make the same pattern at the same time. The result is so much more than a finished project! You learn new skills, make connections, and find inspiration seeing yarn textures and color combinations through the eyes of others.
Join us for our fall 2026 KAL, the Levitate Wrap! This cozy wrap sweater has been on everyone’s making wish list, and we think it might be on your list as well. The Levitate wrap calls for an Aran weight yarn, and looks like it will knit up quickly. Our top choices for this KAL are Snefnug by Camarose, Felted Tweed Soft by Rowan and Cloud by Lang. It would also be gorgeous in a worsted weight yarn held with a strand of mohair.
We will be hosting a cast on party on Monday, September 21, from 2-4 at the shop. While the pattern is available on Ravelry, it is not enabled for in store sales, so please purchase the pattern on your own ahead of time on the My Favourite Things website.
