A note about indigo: Indigo is a natural dye prized for its gorgeous blues. A caveat of working with indigo dyed fibers is that you may experience "crocking", which is blue molecules sloughing off with friction. This looks like blue fingers while knitting, and possible blue staining of wooden needles. If your yarn is crocking, simply wash your hands after knitting. When you are finished with your project, give it a nice bath in warm soapy water. After washing and rinsing, your project will be stable and will not continue to crock. Enjoy your plant dyed yarn!
