Double knitting makes a warm, double thick knitted fabric that is completely reversible with stockinette on both sides. Both sides of fabric are worked at the same time. Depending on the pattern, one side of fabric can be predominately one color and the other side predominately the second color.
Students will learn the basics of the technique, how to fix mistakes, various applications for the technique, and how to work with two colors in the same row. A simple striped scarf pattern will be included.
