Suri Stratus by Plymouth (lace)

Plymouth Suri Stratus is a featherlight lace-weight yarn made from soft suri alpaca fibers carried on a fine nylon core. It creates a warm, airy fabric with a soft halo and offers a useful alternative to mohair for knitters and crocheters who prefer alpaca.

Use Suri Stratus by itself for sheer lace and lightweight accessories, or hold it together with another yarn to add warmth, softness and a fuzzy halo. Matching the two yarns creates subtle depth, while contrasting colors produce a more visible marled effect.
