Silky Wool by Elsebeth Lavold (sport/dk)

Silky Wool is beautiful and versatile, especially because it is next-to-your-skin soft!  The silk adds to the softness and also gives texture to the finish project, while still showing off cables and other stitch work beautifully.

Each colorway has depth, because in production, the different fibers that create this yarn absorb dyes differently. Silky Wool makes a warm, yet lightweight, garment or throw.

This 45% wool/35% silk/20% nylon yarn comes in 50 gram hanks and has 191 yards. Although the label indicates a dk weight yarn, it can be worked at a tighter gauge depending on the project.

Suggested needle size is a US 6 (4mm) for a knit gauge of 22 sts = 4"
Suggested hook size is a US G (4mm) for a crochet gauge of 12-17 sc = 4"

Hand wash, lay flat to dry.
