Sea Isle Cotton by Plymouth Yarn (worsted)

This yarn from Plymouth Yarns is a blend of 50% organic cotton and 50% fine merino wool and it is incredibly soft! The tightly chained construction of this yarn gives it loft and helps to minimize any pilling - and we are happy to report that it is not splitty at all.

The color palette is summery. We knit up a simple long sleeve pullover in a women's medium and used just four skeins. We knit Brick, a free top down pattern on Ravelry. We can't say enough about how beautiful this finished sweater is in its look, and in how it feels. It was knit in colorway 8 (oyster).

Although label suggests a gauge of 4.5 sts. to the inch on a US 7 needle, we liked the fabric for our sweater knit one needle size down and at 5 sts. to the inch. This 100-gram skein has 329 yards.

Hand wash, lay flat to dry. Made in Peru.
