Malabrigo Rasta (super bulky)

Malabrigo Rasta is a plush, hand-dyed super-bulky yarn made from 100% Uruguayan merino wool. Its lightly fulled, single-ply construction produces a soft, substantial fabric with bold stitch definition and Malabrigo’s characteristic depth of color.

With only eight to ten stitches per four inches, Rasta works up remarkably quickly. It’s an excellent choice for warm accessories and satisfying projects that can be completed in a weekend—or sometimes an afternoon.

Great for: Hats, cowls, scarves, mittens and other warm winter accessories. Its substantial size and rich color also work well for blankets, outerwear, oversized textures and quick gift projects.

A note about hand-dyed yarn: Malabrigo yarn is dyed in small batches, so colors may vary between skeins and dye lots. Purchase enough yarn for your entire project at one time. When using multiple skeins, alternate between them every few rows to distribute the color variations more evenly.
