Cascade Ecological Wool

Cascade Ecological Wool is a versatile, undyed Peruvian Highland wool with a warm, woolly character and excellent stitch definition. The natural shades range from creamy whites and soft beiges to rich browns, greys and marled combinations, allowing the beauty of the fleece to take center stage.

Each generously sized 250-gram skein contains 478 yards—enough for many accessories and an economical choice for sweater projects. Ecological Wool works beautifully for sweaters, blankets, outerwear, hats and mittens, as well as cables, colorwork and textured stitches. Because it is not superwash-treated, it is an excellent choice for felted projects.

This is a substantial, traditional wool rather than a silky-soft merino, making it especially well suited to warm garments, durable accessories and projects where structure matters.
