Which wool is softest for next-to-skin wear?

Merino is well-regarded as the softest wool — look for yarns like Malabrigo Rios or Knitting for Olive Merino. Blends with silk or cashmere are also excellent for garments worn close to the skin.

I'm allergic to wool! What should I look for?

Yarns in our Cotton & Linen collection are completely wool free, while the yarns in our Silk Blends and Mohair collections may have some wool-free options. Note that alpaca is technically not wool and is tolerated by some people with wool sensitivities, though not all.
