Collection: Maine Made Yarn & Goods

From Maine-milled wool to hand-dyed skeins from local dyers, this collection celebrates the fiber artists and small mills working right here in Maine. Here you'll find yarn, roving, and a few handcrafted extras — project bags, note cards, and more — all made by Maine hands.

Maine has a long history with wool — from working sheep farms to small-batch mills that have been spinning yarn for generations. This collection gathers what we currently carry from Maine-based yarn companies and independent fiber artists, including Bartlett Yarns (one of the oldest working wool mills in the country, based in Harmony, Maine), ontheround, and Daylily B True Angoras, locally produced spinning fibers, as well as our own house dyed yarns.

We'll be honest: our Maine yarn selection is smaller than it once was, as several Maine-based mills and yarn companies have closed over the years. But we're always on the lookout for new Maine fiber artists to feature, and we update this collection as we find them. If you know of a Maine-based yarn or fiber producer we should be carrying, email us — we love finding new local makers.

Alongside the yarn and fiber, you'll find a few other Maine-made goods here too: project bags, note cards from local artists, locally made hand cream & lip balms, and our own Heavenly Yarns tote — all made with the same care as the fiber itself.
