Collection: Harrisville Designs

Harrisville Designs operates out of a National Historic Landmark mill village in southwestern New Hampshire, one of the few woolen mills still spinning yarn in the United States. Their yarns are known for rich, dyed-in-the-wool heather blends — colors combined before spinning rather than after, which gives the finished yarn depth that solid-dyed yarns don't have.

Highland, their flagship 100% wool worsted, is a good match for structured knitting, cables, and anything where you want classic wool character. Beyond Highland, this collection includes Daylights and Nightshades DK options with the same heathered depth. As with most non-superwash wool, hand washing is recommended for finished pieces unless a specific yarn's label says otherwise.
