Malabrigo Sock | Heavenly Yarns

Malabrigo Sock is a smooth, hand-dyed light fingering-weight yarn made from 100% superwash merino wool. Its three-ply construction produces soft fabric with good stitch definition, while Malabrigo’s tonal and variegated colorways add depth and movement.

Despite its name, Malabrigo Sock is useful for far more than socks. Its softness, generous yardage and lightweight feel make it especially well suited to shawls, scarves, lightweight sweaters, baby clothes and accessories worn next to the skin.

Great for: Lace, shawls, scarves, garments, baby and child items, gloves, and of course socks if you reinforce the toes and heels with nylon reinforcing thread.

A note about hand-dyed yarn: Malabrigo yarn is dyed in small batches, so colors may vary between skeins and dye lots. Purchase enough yarn for your entire project at one time. When using multiple skeins, alternate between them every few rows to distribute the color variations more evenly.
