Osprey is 100% American wool; grown, spun & dyed in the USA. Each 100g skein has 170 yards. Knits up at 4 st/in on size US 9, or 3.5 st/in on size US 11 needles.
We knit Gudrun Johnston's Fidra hat with one skein of Carrie's Yellow (125). Fidra is a quick and fun knit combining garter stitch and stockinette textures with some yarn over holes for further decoration (and a little ventilation). The pattern is available for download for $6 on Ravelry.
