This class will teach an overview of techniques so that you can nicely finish your knitted garments. It will cover blocking, three needle bind off, mattress stitch, grafting (Kitchener stitch) and picking up stitches.
Pre-class homework: Knit three 4" squares worked in stockinette stitch (without any edging) in a smooth DK or heavier weight yarn. They do not need to be the same color if you want to use up yarn, but they should be light colored and all the same weight. Bind off one square, leave the other two on separate needles: one ended on a knit row, the other on a purl row. Bring a third needle of the same or larger size that the squares are knit with.
